Clydesdale and Yorkshire Bank have today announced the appointment of Gary Lumby as its new Director of Small Business Banking.
Gary takes on this newly created role with immediate effect. He moves up from his role as Head of Retail for Yorkshire Bank, where he has built strong relationships in the business community. Steve Fletcher, Head of Sales Development, will become the new Head of Retail for Yorkshire Bank.
Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks currently operate small business banking through branches across England and Scotland. As Director of Small Business Banking, Gary will take the strategic lead in shaping this area of the business and driving it forward.
Gary’s first duty has been to appoint his new Head of Small Business Banking, who will manage day-to-day operations. Claire Shields will move up from her role as Head of Direct Banking.
Steve Reid, Retail Director, commented on the appointment:
