Increasing Your Awareness to Phishing

Phishing emails are a well known and recognised scam, they will generally appear to be from a legitimate company or financial institution. The email may encourage you to follow a link to a website which often looks similar to a legitimate site and you may be asked to input your login or personal details. The information you provide will be captured by a fraudster, and be used to access your accounts and make fraudulent transactions.

If you receive any Clydesdale bank emails you believe to be phishing , do not respond or open any attachments. Forward to the email address reportphishing-cb@cbonline.co.uk, then DELETE THE EMAIL.

If you are concerned you have divulged details then contact our Internet Banking Helpdesk on 0800 345 7 365 immediately.
