Day-to-day banking

If you’ve got a personal or business account with us, you can visit a branch, use an ATM or pop into your nearest Post Office. At all three, you can:

  • Withdraw and deposit cash
  • Check account balances
  • Find out more about our range of products

Other things you can do at an ATM

You can do much more at an ATM than withdraw cash. You can:

  • Check your account balances and withdraw cash
  • Top up your mobile
  • Print mini statements showing your last 10 transactions
  • Change your PIN

Other Post Office banking services

With a Clydesdale Bank account, you can carry out a number of banking transactions at Post Office Branches across the country.

Service for our personal customers

  • Cash withdrawal
  • Cash deposit

Please note some Post Office branches cannot accept cash deposits in excess of £2000. If you anticipate paying inexcess of this amount you should ask at the Post Office branch you wish to use if they can accept your transaction.

Services for our business customers

  • Notes for coin exchange (Change Giving service) - by prior arrangement

This service is only available to Business customers who have completed an application form and been approved for Change Giving. Please contact your Relationship Manager should you wish to apply for this service. For further information on any of the services, please view the Post Office terms & conditions.

What you’ll need to use these services:

  • For cash withdrawals and balance enquiries take your debit card and PIN.
  • For cash deposit take your debit card or a personalised paying in slip.
  • For cheque deposits take a personalised paying in slip and Post Office Service Cheque Deposit Envelope. You can get the envelopes from any Post Office branch.
