Leading Scottish jewellery company, Chisholm Hunter, has agreed a multi-million pound funding package to support expansion and the purchase of a new flagship store. This purchase follows an extremely successful 2016, with revenues up 11% from the previous year to £33M.
The purchase of a new flagship store in Princes Street, Edinburgh, includes both freehold, commercial & residential property. The iconic store, which has commanding views of Edinburgh castle, will be one of the largest luxury jewellery retail spaces in the UK. The store extends over three floors and includes a designated Swiss timepiece room and luxury champagne bar.
Chisholm Hunter retails diamonds, jewellery and a range of high value watches and is the only jeweller in Scotland to offer the world’s most prestigious watch brands Vacheron Constantin, Breguet and Blancpain.
Harry Brown, CEO, has grown his business over twenty years to 25 stores across the UK, employing almost 300 people. The new store will brings a number of extra jobs to Scotland’s capital city.
