Clydesdale Bank has strengthened its support for the food sector through its partnership with Scottish Bakers. The trading name of the Scottish Association of Master Baker (SAMB), Scottish Bakers was established in 1891 and since then has represented and promoted the interests of the bakery trade in Scotland, providing a valuable source of information and skills development for bakers throughout Scotland. The alliance with Clydesdale Bank has allowed members to learn more about how the Bank can help with with their financial management, and similarly, it has allowed the Bank to develop a more in-depth knowledge of the bakery sector in particular.
