Clydesdale Bank in Aberdeen expansion

11/03/07

The favourite bank of small and medium sized businesses is expanding its presence in Aberdeen by investing in new, larger premises at 56 Carden Place.

The Clydesdale Bank's Financial Solutions Centre (FSC) has taken up 7,500 square feet of purpose built office space to further enhance the service and facilities it offers to both business and private clients. The new office officially opens its doors on Monday 12th March 2007.

Managing Partner, John Brebner, started his career in the George Street branch of Clydesdale Bank 25 years ago, and returned to his roots in the City in January 2007 to lead an expanded team of 44 finance specialists.

John Brebner says: "Aberdeen's strong economy has seen growing demand for business banking. Our own team has grown by over a quarter in the last year to meet this demand and our new premises will ensure we are well placed to meet the needs of our clients"

The Clydesdale Bank's Financial Solutions Centre has been an active part of the business community in Aberdeen for more than a decade, working closely with companies across a wide range of sectors including energy, commercial property, fishing and agriculture.

Brebner continues: "Our approach is to be more than just a bank. We work closely with clients, providing value added benefits that help them grow their business. Our new offices provide us with the best facilities for networking, for focus groups and for our clients to use for their own business needs - completely free of charge"
