Clydesdale Bank has appointed a new business manager in Hamilton to meet the growing needs and demands of small businesses within Lanarkshire's thriving economy.
Alan Stewart, formerly an associate at Clydesdale Bank's Financial Solutions Centre in East Kilbride, has been promoted to the bank's Hamilton "flagship" outlet in Almada Street.
Alan has been with Clydesdale Bank for 21 years. He began his career in branch banking and transferred to business banking six years ago.
In his new role as business manager, Alan will be responsible for business credit assessment and customer sales and service.
Alan lives in Stonehouse, Lanarkshire, and is married with two young daughters.
David Speedie, area business manager for small businesses for Lanarkshire, said: "The fact that we are able to promote high-calibre people such as Alan emphasises what an exciting time this is for us, as we build on our business in Hamilton and Lanarkshire.
