Clydesdale Bank appoints new managing partner in Dundee

Alastair Rodger has been appointed as managing partner of the Clydesdale Bank Financial Solutions Centre (FSC) in Dundee's Nethergate House.

Drawing on over 25 years experience with the bank Alastair will lead a team of 22 specialists providing a range of banking services to business and private clients throughout Dundee and Tayside.

Having started his career with the Clydesdale Bank branch in Ellon, Alastair went on to spend seven years in London before returning to the Dundee to work with commercial banking clients. He also gained experience working with the bank's specialist agricultural division, providing banking services to rural businesses throughout Angus and Kincardinshire.

Prior to his appointment as managing partner, Alastair worked on the provision of treasury services to commercial clients in Dundee, Aberdeen and Thainstone.

Commenting on his appointment, Alastair Rodger said: "Having spent a large part of my career in Dundee, I am able to add to the considerable local knowledge of my team, ensuring we are best placed to truly understand the needs of our customers throughout the area".

Alastair is a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (Scotland) and recently completed a Post Graduate MSc in Organisational Development.
