Yorkshire Bank has announced a key appointment at its Coventry Financial Solutions Centre (FSC).
Stephen Cronin has returned to the city to join the bank’s FSC at the Ricoh Arena as managing partner.
The 48 year-old has moved to Coventry after almost three years as managing partner at Yorkshire Bank’s Birmingham FSC, and prior to that a further two years leading the bank’s team in Leicester.
He takes over from Paul Reeves, who is now managing partner in Birmingham.
Stephen worked in Coventry for eight years at NatWest prior to joining Yorkshire Bank in 2003 and said he is looking forward to building on the bank’s strong presence in Coventry and Warwickshire.
“I’m really pleased to be returning to Coventry and to be leading a hugely experienced team here,” he said.
“Yorkshire Bank has built a strong reputation across the Midlands and I’m looking forward to building on the success Paul and his team enjoyed.
“Although Paul and I have swapped roles, it is still very much business as usual for Yorkshire Bank and our members.
“We are still actively looking to support trading and forward-thinking businesses through our Investing for Growth initiative.
“Indeed our commitment is now stronger than ever as we continue to attract growing numbers of small and medium sized businesses.
“We delivered on our two-year promise to make £10 billion of gross new lending available to business and personal customers by October 2011, and I’m looking forward to playing a major role in helping companies across Coventry and Warwickshire with their growth plans.”
