Yorkshire Bank appoints relationship manager in Birmingham

A commercial banking specialist has joined Yorkshire Bank’s Business and Private Banking Centre in Birmingham.
 
Richard Williams, who has been appointed relationship manager at the bank in Temple Row, brings nearly 30 years’ experience to the role.
 
Richard, who hails from the Wirral in Merseyside and has been working in the Midlands for the last 18 years, will be concentrating on developing relationships with a diverse customer base at Yorkshire Bank.
 
He said: “I was immediately impressed with the openness of Yorkshire Bank and its commitment to working with businesses in its community as well as a history of working with quality, trading businesses.
 
“I am looking forward to meeting our customers in a variety of sectors in Birmingham, Coventry, Warwickshire, Wolverhampton and Worcestershire.
 
“I have nearly three decades of experience in commercial banking as well as people development and it is great to be joining Yorkshire Bank which has a fantastic reputation in Birmingham.”
 
Brian Colquhoun, regional director at Yorkshire Bank who is based in Birmingham, said Richard would be a valuable addition to the team.
 
He said: “Richard’s professional experience and personable nature will be an asset as we continue to create partnerships and connect people across the Midlands.
 
“His background in the industry will be an advantage in securing new business as well as maintaining and improving our relationships with existing customers across industry sectors.”
