Clydesdale Bank Unveils Refurbished Branch in Aberdeen

Clydesdale Bank today (4th November 2014) unveiled its newly refurbished St Nicholas branch in Aberdeen.

The improvements to the branch are part of a £25 million investment programme by the bank to upgrade the existing branch network to meet changing customer needs. A further £20 million is being invested in improved services for customers including the expansion of mobile and internet banking as well as new products.

The branch is among the first to feature the latest technology including bespoke iPads which can be used to register customers for internet banking, assist with product discussions and gather customer feedback as well as providing quick links to the Clydesdale Bank website.

The Bank’s mobile banking app will be demonstrated on mobile devices including phones and iPads. In addition, free WIFI will be available for customers to connect to their own mobile devices.

The refurbished premises also provide five counter positions, five interview rooms, six ATMs and a deposit self-service facility. The Clydesdale Bank branch in Dyce has also benefitted from a refurbishment as part of the investment programme.

Customers of the St Nicholas branch are now benefiting from extended opening hours and the branch is open from 8.30am to 6pm Monday to Friday and from 9.15am to 1.15pm on Saturdays.
