Clydesdale Bank today (Monday 8th September 2014) opened its new branch in the St John’s Centre in Perth.
The new branch is part of a £25 million investment programme by Clydesdale Bank to upgrade the existing branch network to meet changing customer needs. A further £20 million is being invested in improved services for customers including the expansion of mobile and internet banking as well as new products.
Replacing the current branch on South Methven Street, the new location will provide customers with three counter positions, four interview rooms, two external and one internal ATM, as well as a deposit self-service facility.
All 13 staff including Branch Manager, Alison McDonald, have transferred to the new location. Alison, who has been with Clydesdale Bank for 35 years, said: “We are delighted to move to this new branch in the St John’s Centre which underlines our commitment to the area.
“The branch will be staffed by familiar faces to ensure customers continue to get the great personal service they expect.”
