Some of Glasgow’s most talented young professionals had the opportunity to question senior Clydesdale Bank staff about financial planning issues as part of the Bank’s first Private Banking Week.
The event, held at Clydesdale Bank’s head office on October 10, attracted an audience of more than 50 ambitious young professionals - each of whom are considered the future of the city’s professional market. Attendees were drawn from the UK’s top legal, surveying and accountancy firms, including KPMG, Lindsays, Harper Macleod LLP, MacRoberts LLP, CBRE, Savills Estate Agents, DWF Biggart Baillie, Ryden as well as independent firms.
The session was held to encourage the audience to think about their finances. After hearing from Andrena Murdoch, Clydesdale Bank’s Head of Private Banking for the West of Scotland, young professionals also had a chance to chat informally to a number of the Bank’s Private Relationship Managers during a cheese and wine networking opportunity.
Andrena Murdoch, Clydesdale Bank’s Head of Private Banking for the West of Scotland, said:
“We are delighted with the success of this event which attracted a wide audience from a variety of professional sectors including law, accountancy and surveying. As the future of the market place it is important that aspiring professionals consider their finances and give thought to private banking at this early stage.
“Importantly, the event also provided direct access to our Private Relationship Managers, enabling those who attended to raise significant financial matters without the formalities of making an appointment.
