A charity quiz staged by Clydesdale Bank as part of Business Week raised more than £1900 for the Ayrshire Hospice.
More than 100 local business figures took part in the event was held at Kylestrome Hotel on Thursday 12 November. Twenty seven teams of four competed for top place with Ayr chartered accountants William Duncan & Co. emerging victorious. Kilmarnock-based land surveying company, Land & Mineral Survey Services Ltd., were runners-up.
Prior to the quiz guests enjoyed welcome drinks and a networking opportunity at the recently refurbished Clydesdale Bank Ayr Business and Private Banking Centre.

The event was part of Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks’ Business Week, which ran from November 9-13. The theme was ‘Growth through innovation’, a positive and forward thinking approach to inspire businesses across the UK. Over 200 events took place across the country. As part of Business Week in Ayrshire, almost 30 agricultural businesses had the opportunity to join Clydesdale Bank’s Head of Agriculture, David Hannon, for a networking lunch. Guests also heard from Andrew Smith of ABC Dairy Consultants.
