Midlothian-based PM Solutions has moved to new premises after a period of sustained growth with support from Clydesdale Bank.
The direct and transactional mailing firm spent £1.2 million on the purpose-built facility at Bilston Glen industrial estate.
At 15,000 square feet, the new premises are five times larger than the company’s former site.
Funding to maintain operations during the building process was provided by a £300,000 facility from Clydesdale Bank. The deal was delivered by Kevin Thomson, Relationship Manager at Clydesdale Bank’s Edinburgh Business and Private Banking Centre.
New mail sorting machinery has also been installed allowing 30,000 pieces of mail per hour to be sorted by post code. Upgraded inserting and polywrapping hardware has been installed improving the speed, precision and product range of the business.
Ron Davidson, Managing Director of PM Solutions, said: “Our new top of the range facility is not only ideal for our day-to-day business activities, but it also provides scope to achieve further growth.
“The printing and mailing industry has to constantly adapt to new technology and trends, so having a flexible working environment is important. The new site at Loanhead is ideal for our ever-changing needs.
“Throughout the construction of, and transition to the new building, Clydesdale Bank have been trusted advisers and fully supportive of our growth ambitions.”
Billy MacLeod, Head of Clydesdale Bank’s Business and Private Banking Centre in Edinburgh, said: “It’s great to see PM Solutions continuing to look for ways to expand and improve the business."
