With the backing of Clydesdale Bank, a leading Glasgow business is on a new path to fresh growth.

A new chapter for a Glasgow institution

Wylie & Bisset, one of Glasgow’s leading accountancy firms, has made a fresh acquisition with support from Clydesdale Bank as part of its planned expansion strategy.

The business acquired McLellan Harris & Co, the Glasgow-headquartered accountancy services provider, which has allowed Wylie & Bisset to now offer its focused client services to an enlarged client base.

Donald McKinnon, Joint Managing Partner at Wylie & Bisset, commented: “This deal is great news for our business and our clients. The acquisition follows a restructuring programme at the firm, which led to the creation of joint managing partner roles for Donald McKinnon and Ross McLauchlan (pictured). After this internal restructure, the business has now embarked on an “acquisition hunt” with the objective of significantly expanding the practice.
