Control Valve Solutions Ltd (CVS), the manufacturer of valve technology for the oil and gas industry, has marked its 10th anniversary by launching its growth strategy and moving into new headquarters.

With significant funding support from Clydesdale Bank and Scottish Enterprise, CVS has relocated to new premises in Minto Place, Altens, in Aberdeen.

The premises was fully renovated before its team of 43 moved in, which included the addition of a purpose-built machine shop, which will increase the efficiency of company’s valve overhaul and repairs process. CVS also plans to create around 15 new jobs at the site over the next 12-18 months, which will include two new positions within its apprenticeship programme.

The company has also launched its growth strategy and the financial support will also be used to assist with the purchase of new machinery and equipment to service higher customer demand, as its presence within the sector continues to grow.

Mick Beavers, Director at Control Valve Solutions, said: “We’re thrilled with the support and trust Clydesdale Bank provided to us throughout the process of establishing our company’s new home. They appreciate our core values and I feel that the relationship between CVS and Clydesdale Bank will be a long and prosperous one.”

“Scottish Enterprise is also a long-standing partner of our business and as a leading voice that is dedicated to spurring economic growth across the country, we’re grateful that they believe in our ambitions.”

As part of this support, we awarded a Regional Selective Assistance grant of £375,000 as a contribution towards the company’s investment plans that will allow it to operate more efficiently by increasing capacity and boosting its client service offering, leading to new jobs in Aberdeen.”
