Term loan

Flexible finance to help grow your business

A term loan from Clydesdale Bank can be short, medium or long term and repayments are dependent on the amount you want to borrow and over what timescale. You may need help with working capital, asset purchases or purchase of premises. We have the experience to help you find the right time scale and product for your business needs. Loans subject to status and eligibility. Applicants must be aged 18 years or over.

Please note that security may be required. Any asset used as security will be at risk if you break the agreement and may be sold to repay your debt.

Property given as security, which may include your home, may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage or any other debt secured on it.

  • Interest is calculated daily and applied monthly or quarterly.
    • Interest rates can be found in the interest rates and charges section. Interest rates in respect of borrowing facilities are individually negotiated and the amount you are charged will depend on your circumstances. Other charges may apply. Speak to your relationship manager for more details
  • The flexibility of loan term is consistent with the life expectancy of the asset being purchased (where applicable)
  • Repayment type – interest only or capital and interest
  • With interest only option - you will need to plan a method for repaying the capital
  • Loans subject to individual assessment
