Our other accounts

Readycash account

Our basic bank account, only available to customers who are aged 16 years and over and not eligible for one of our standard Current Accounts. May also be available for customers experiencing financial difficulties.

Private Current Account

Our Private Current Account is available to individuals with annual earnings of at least £75,000, joint incomes of £100,000, or investable assets of £100,000. Access is through our private banking service which has A Monthly Fee For Maintaining The Account of £25 and includes access to a Private Development Manager. Subject to status and eligibility. 18+ T&Cs apply.

  1. Both a Virgin Money Current Account and Virgin Money Instant Savings must be opened at the same time and both held to take full advantage of all the features of the accounts and the Virgin Money app. You’ll also need a compatible smartphone or tablet to take advantage of all the tools.
  2. An Arranged Overdraft is a borrowing limit (subject to status) on your account that we agree with you in advance, so it's there when you need it. You'll pay Arranged Overdraft interest on the amount you chose to use. A Monthly Arranged Overdraft Fee is applied each month you use an Arranged Overdraft greater than the value of the Arranged Overdraft Buffer Amount. The buffer amount can be found within the tariff.
  3. An Unarranged Overdraft is where you borrow from us when there is no money left in your account (or when you have gone past your Arranged Overdraft) and this has not been agreed with us in advance. A Daily Unarranged Overdraft Fee is applied on each business day that you are in an Unarranged Overdraft which is greater than the value of your Unarranged Overdraft Buffer Amount. The buffer amount can be found within the tariff.
